The proposals involve the redevelopment of the current industrial estate (some 16.23 hectares of employment land). While the lorries on the estate cause signficant problems in the village and the majoirity of villagers would welcome their disappearance, removal of employment opportunities within walking distance may have a serious impact on those employees without access to independent transport.
