The proposal to build 48 new houses on the Sow & Grow site on Ongar Road will put undue pressure on the already stretch drainage on this part of the road. The drains cannot cope with any heavy rainfall already so an extra 48 houses will exacerbate the situation.
Traffic movement along Ongar Road is already very heavy, particularly driving early morning and evening rush hour and any additional vehicles are likely to clog the system.

The drains cannot cope with any heavy rainfall already so an extra 48 houses will exacerbate the situation. In addition, traffic movement along Ongar Road is already very heavy, particularly driving early morning and evening rush hour and any additional vehicles are likely to clog the system. We already suffer huge tailbacks and delays regularly especially when there is any problem at junction 28 of the M25 which is fairly frequent. The proposal would make a difficult situation impossible!!
