These adopted standards should apply everywhere within the borough, even in Town Centre locations. This will help to undo the damage of car free developments and developments with insufficient parking that have been allowed in prior years. Also, to ensure these standards are upheld it is imperative that the Essex CC Highways appraisal of a site concurs with that of the Brentwood Planning officer.
