Representation Summary:

Strategic aims and objectives, the Council's insistence on persevering with the Blackmore sites R25/26 ignores issues that have still failed to be addressed. Namely the negative impact on the village character, the detrimental impact on the health of the local community. Future proofing against climate change hardly seems compatible with releasing land within the Green Belt and the increase in traffic movement in and around the village. There is limited and infrequent public transport being a remote village to the north of the district. Encouraging the use of motor vehicles in inconsistent with a meaningful sustainability objective.
Chapter 3.13, you make reference to 'healthy communities' by creating a balance of employment opportunities with the necessary facilities and services to sustain healthy and active communities'. How have you demonstrated your commitment to this objective no provision has been made to ensure the health of the community. No additional jobs will be created in Blackmore. No additional facilities have been created in Blackmore. No additional services have been created in Blackmore.
