Representation Summary:
There is a need for a dedicated retail policy setting out the amount of retail
floorspace to be provided during the plan period and identification as to where this
will be located. It is also important to recognise that new jobs can be created through providing additional retail floorspace, as well bringing vacant floorspace back into use. The Baytree Centre needs to be considered against an updated HELAA and accounted for within the Sustainability Appraisal (SA) for the Draft Proposed Submission Plan
(Regulation 19).
