At this time, Basildon Borough Council is disappointed with the degree of engagement and fore-notice that has been provided with regard to the proposals set out in the Brentwood Draft Local Plan. The proposals for Dunton Hill Garden Village are a departure from the Garden Suburb proposals previously considered by both Council's, and are not supported by sufficient evidence, and do not include sufficient detail in order for Basildon Borough Council to fully understand the implications of the proposals on the highway network and other infrastructure and services within Basildon Borough.
