Respondent: Mrs Karen Greenwood

Representation Summary:

I think this is an unworkable proposal as:
1. Children from the two blocks of flats currently use this area for play/recreational purposes and are unable to play elsewhere.
2. Landscape work has recently been undertaken to the grounds with flowers and green space for residents who use the area to good effect.
3. Traffic congestion and parking is already an issue and further construction will take away current parking allocation and cause congestion.

I would like to submit an opinion on the above proposal - building of 10 dwellings (007) between Tendring court and Tillingham Bold in Hutton. I think this is an unworkable proposal as:
1. Children from the two blocks of flats currently use this area for play/recreational purposes they are young children who need this area as they are unable to play elsewhere.
2. Work has recently been undertaken to landscape the grounds with lovely flowers and green space for the residents who constantly use the area to good effect.
3. Traffic congestion and parking is already an issue in this part of Woodlands avenue and further construction which will no doubt take away the parking area allocation at the moment will cause major problems with parking and congestion.

Respondent: Mrs. Ann Goodship

Representation Summary:

I would like to strongly object to the above proposed development. The area allocated on the Map 007 is a small piece of ground where the resident's children play in a safe secure environment. To remove this would deprive the children of a safe space to play.

The closeness of the proposed building area to the existing buildings would surely cause blockage of light for these existing blocks.

Parking will be an issue as there is currently traffic congestion with in this area and more dwellings will create more traffic problems

I would like to strongly object to the above proposed development and understand that I have until early October 2013 to do so. I would like to outline some of my objections below:

* The area allocated on the Map 007 is a small piece of ground where the resident's children play in a safe secure environment. To remove this would deprive the children of a safe space to play.

* Part of this area has been made into a Memorial Garden by the local children in memory of a residents son who has passed away and the Garden is tended and looked after by the residents children.

* The closeness of the proposed building area to the existing buildings (i.e. Tendering Court and Tillingham Bold) would surely cause blockage of light for these existing blocks.

* Parking will be an issue as there is currently traffic congestion with in this area and more dwellings will create more traffic problems - causing a knock on effect all the way along Woodlands Avenue and could possibly lead to more traffic accidents involving young children or old people in this residential area.

I urge Brentwood Borough Council not to build on this very small plot of land and would like you to consider and log my objection on an individual basis
