Local Plan 2015-2030 Preferred Options for Consultation

Representation ID: 850

Received: 04/09/2013

Respondent: Mobile Operators Association

Agent: Mono Consultants Limited

Representation Summary:

Suggest that a clear and flexible telecommunications policy be introduced in the Local Plan. This should be introduced by a short paragraph outlining the development pressures and policy aims.

Text has been suggested for both [see attached].

In keeping with the aims and objectives of legislation (such as the NPPF and Code of Best Practice for Mobile Phone Network Development (2013)) any background information should be contained within a separate non-statutory LDD which would not need to go through the same consultation process.
