Flooding in Red Rose Lane is known, site 250 was rejected on grounds of surface water flooding, 076 is lower lying. Development would make the flooding worse and a pond would make the housing targets undeliverable.

Site is Green Belt and should be protected. Used for recreational purposes. Development here would cause chaos on the roads and only add to congestion. The current infrastructure (water supply, power, roads, health care facilities, etc) are not adequate as is.

An increase of 28.6% in Blackmore is too much for a rural area, there are no allocation in other nearby parishes. The site is in Green Belt, I am furious that Brentwood is considering getting around the regulations. There would be a loss of valuable agricultural land. This would also put too much strain on the infrastructure of the village: water supply, gas, sewers, communications, drainage. The local school is already full, the Health Centre over stretched, public transport inadequate, parking is minimal.

The site is green belt - the extent of the development is inappropriate; contrary to the intention of Greenbelt legislation to permanently provide and protect open space; and fails to meet the threshold of exceptional need. The existing infrastructure is not able to cope with additional homes - lack of school places, no local GP surgery, poor road infrastructure and limited utilities infrastructure.
