Representation Summary:

Blackmore is a small and beautiful village and risks becoming over developed if schemes such as this are granted. More housing and therefore more people moving into this village puts undue pressure on the limited amenities Blackmore offers, namely a local shop and small primary school which couldn't cope, particularly the school which is already over subscribed and at capacity. Extra housing also means more cars and pollution and a busier road network in what is a quiet place to live. We moved here to be near to essential amenities an towns but wanted to bring our family up on a peaceful, rural location and we are concerned that if any more development of this scale is allowed then Blackmore will no longer be a safe, tranquil, small community but a village plagued with unnecessary pressure and housing, becoming too built up, noisy and suburbanised.
