Blackmore has flood issues already, we can't have 2 large fields removed. With more extreme weather predicted this risk of flooding will worsen. The suggestion of digging 2 ponds on the site as a solution is unworkable as at times of heavy rain the water table is at ground surface level. Also losing 2 large fields to houses means loss of very precious wildlife habitat that currently contains hedgehogs, voles, foxes and badgers.
