Sound? No

Representation Summary:

Inclusion of R25 and R26 sites are not sound as this is contrary to the Governments arms and BBC objectives to reduce pollution and reduce car usage. As the village has limited public transport, no access to a station and largely serviced by rural roads without any pedestrian footpaths the development will increasingly generate more cars and traffic in the village.
All amenities and services can only be accessed by road (only a small shop in the village, no employment opportunities, small school already over subscribed). There is no public areas for parking and as Blackmore attracts a large number of visitors parking and congestion is already an issue in the village and very often large local traffic (i.e. tractors) cannot pass on some of the main routes through the village.
