Removing Urban Open Space at Priests Lane will deprive the two local schools of space to expand.
Using land adjoining the Endeavour School [Para 9.175] will only provide the quick fix requirement for a sixth-form and not playing field space. No land set aside to accommodate expansion of Hogarth Primary School. Loss of schools’ playing fields will have a negative effect on younger children.
Priests Lane can not withstand an additional 1000 dwellings in Shenfield together with attraction of Crossrail serving to increase traffic hazards and pollution.
