I am a frequent visitor to Priests Lane in Shenfield where my two little granddaughters live. I have always been anxious about the very busy road as Priests Lane is used as a rat-run, and I think it is only a matter of time before there is a fatal accident due to the narrowness of the road and the excessive speed of the motorists. I fear for the lives of my two little ones or any pedestrians, as the pavements where they even exist are very narrow, and there is no margin for error in a traffic accident.
