Representation Summary:
The DCLG intervention letter puts the blame for current housing crisis on local government, whilst it is due to the lack of affordable homes and the policy of allowing oversea buyers to buy homes as investments. I suggest the Council get together with other councils, and Essex County Council so that they can help finance the legal fees for judicial review, to challenge the housing targets.
