It is noted that Strategic Objective SO4 mentions the importance of place-making. It will be important to ensure that the Dunton Hills Garden Village scheme is designed to avoid creating the impression of the A127 being a corridor of built development. Master-planning of the site should ensure that development is set back from the A127 and separated from it by high quality landscaping and open, undeveloped areas.
