It is used as a playing field for the community hall and is the only playing ground in Blackmore Parish within 2 miles. It has been the home of Tipps Cross Croquet Club for the past 15 - 20 years, it is the only Croquet club in Brentwood. No alternative venue is suitable or available and if the ground was lost to development the club would certainly close. The Croquet Club has been recognised as beneficial to the local community and has received support and finance from the National Lottery fund.

Tipps Cross is the only Croquet club in Brentwood. No alternative venue is suitable or available and if the ground was lost to development the club would certainly close. Tipps Cross Croquet Club has been recognised as beneficial to the local community and has received support and finance from the National Lottery fund. Please do not lose this facility for the benefit of just 10 new dwellings.
