Representation Summary:

The proposal fails to take into account the fact that these areas are already congested with homes/dwelling with poor transport infrastructure, car parking, and very little green space. By going ahead with this proposal there will be no green space for our children to play and the air pollution will have a negative impact on our health.

The Council proposes building new homes/dwellings in the pilgrim hatch area - behind Viking Way, Sow and Grow nursery, wates way site. The proposal fails to take into account the fact that these areas are already congested with homes/dwelling with poor transport infrastructure, car parking, and very little green space. The current proposal will damage the current community life in pilgrim hatch, will increase traffic in the area. At the moment the congestion on doddinghurst and Ongar Road during rush hour and on Saturday is a nightmare; during peak time it can take up to an hour to get to Brentwood Station as a result of the traffic - this is a journey that should take less than 15minutes. The resulting traffic will contribute to our declining air quality, and the very little open space we currently enjoy will be built upon. By going ahead with this proposal there will be no green space for our children to play and the air pollution will have a negative impact on our health. I know the conservative government mainly focus on business and property developer but as an individual who moved out of London for a better quality of life, the current proposal will destroy that quality of life. The proposal will fail the residents who live in the affected areas.
