Addition of SO8 welcomed in relation to providing new homes and businesses with telecommunications, including superfast broadband, as set out in the NPPF. ECC considers this is important in unlocking new development and contributing to a prosperous economy in attracting new businesses and jobs, and ensuring the connectivity of residents to key services, and should be more reflected in Policy 8.5 - Supporting the Rural Economy.
