I do not believe that Brentwood has enough GPs - The nearest ones to us are a good 25 minutes walk away - not good when you're not feeling very well!! Also, the hospitals outside of the borough are already over stretched and very busy - more people in Brentwood attending those hospitals will put even more demand on their services.
You also say that you define health as mental as well as physical - increasing the population of Brentwood is likely to have a severe affect on the current residents' mental well being. We do not want to live in an over crowded town! My husband and I are already unable to shop in Sainsburys on a Saturday due to it being far too crowded - more people wil just make even more crowds! You should put the current residents' needs first, way before those of any new comers!
