Local Plan 2015-2030 Preferred Options for Consultation

Representation ID: 20

Received: 11/08/2013

Respondent: Mrs Ann Cardus

Representation Summary:

As there currently long term un-let units in the Baytree Centre it would be foolish to add more. The first thing that should be done to increase the demand for retail space is increase consumer demand. This could be done, as per Mary Portas report on High Streets, by providing free parking in the town centre. The outflow of expenditure is to Lakeside, Bluewater, retail parks, because they provide free parking.
