Draft Local Plan

Representation ID: 13643

Received: 23/03/2016

Respondent: Mr Sasha Millwood

Representation Summary:

House prices are high because Brentwood is near London, and precisely BECAUSE there is a shortage of terraced houses and flats. This supports the view that the best way to render housing more affordable is to opt for high-density housing, not an unseemly sprawl in the green belt.

Draft Local Plan

Representation ID: 14682

Received: 20/04/2016

Respondent: Mr Trevor Richmond

Representation Summary:

2.26 Population & Housing.
While I appreciate housing is required into the future, the scale and size proposed in my opinion is too great. As a rough figure it looks like eight hundred and fifty population increase each year. An increase the area will be unable to cope with or adapt too.
