No mention of leisure facilities or addressing the loss of valued open space through building on land provided for the public to undertake sporting activities. Yet again increased numbers require increased facilities and at present the Council intends to reduce the amount of public space available for recreational purposes. What areas have been identified to encourage and replace those areas lost? What funding is available? Who will be consulted on sports provision?
