Flood risk not sufficiently addressed. My house was flooded 3' deep in August 1987 together with at least 15 other houses and St Laurence Grade 1 Church. We had near misses in summer 2016 and 2018 when water pooled at the bottom of Church Street coming up our drive and up the church path. Some minor flooding of houses also occurred then.
Roads in Blackmore are regularly impassable due to flooding, monthly.
Several MMs refer to Blackmore as a Critical Drainage Area. MM78 para Bc "flood risk will not increase elsewhere" and Bi "reduce flood risk overall". These developments will increase the risk of flooding in the existing village because of the fast run off of water from impervious surfaces. That means my house and the church.
