I have an issue with flooding to my property already and although my area is recognised as a Critical Drainage Area the Inspectors have removed a comment that the development will impact surface water flooding, why? With global warming and more extreme weather predicted this situation will definitely worsen causing great concerns for my family, small children, pets and of course my historical 16th Century cottage which has been underwater already on quite a few occasions. If areas are to be concreted over the excess water will have no where to go except into peoples homes.
