There is ample evidence of significant flooding in Blackmore and to create a plan that does not include an Environment Agency report on the topic is bizarre when BBC recognise it is a Critical Drainage Area. To create a plan which removes two vital Green Belt fields to be replaced by houses appears suicidal.
For the Inspectors to try to hide this issue by removing a comment that the development may impact surface water flood is beyond belief.
Worst of all, neither Council nor Inspectors have given any thought to fluvial flooding which is a known issue with the River Wid.
