Representation Summary:

Agreed in principle to develop this site. With a commuter line rail station, good access to the A127 and the highway network, West Horndon has far better transport capacity than any other potential candidate development site. However there should be a requirement in the Plan to ban all construction and developers traffic from using Station Road and Thorndon Avenue, and all construction traffic can only access the site via Childerditch Lane or the A127. A larger number of homes should be allocated here than is proposed.
