Representation Summary:
In addition to Policy 8.5 a Broadband Policy is recommended for inclusion in the new Local plan which will support the provision of broadband into new development. Increased broadband coverage will support businesses and attract investment to Essex. It also has the potential to increase opportunities for home-working and remote-working, reducing the demand on travel networks at peak periods.
