The Council should apply the national policy position in relation to proposals for Green Belt development. This is however should be considered in the context that Brentwood is extremely constrained by Green Belt, and that part of the Council's Growth Strategy includes the limited release of Green Belt sites, and also the development of Key Gateway sites, many of which fall within the Green Belt
designation.
