Draft Local Plan

Representation ID: 13676

Received: 23/03/2016

Respondent: Mr Sasha Millwood

Representation Summary:

The land in the vicinity of J29 of the M25 is NOT a brownfield site. It was a temporary works compound which the Council had promised to restore to its previous (greenfield) condition upon the conclusion of the widening works to the M25. This is illegal, unethical, and a betrayal of trust, and I fear that this 'Trojan horse' strategy for relabelling a site as brownfield is about to be done again at Officer's Meadow, a 'temporary' works compound for Crossrail. I would like to see LEGALLY BINDING AFFIDAVITS that the Council really will restore Officer's Meadow to greenfield status.
